Educational Qualification
- Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): 3 Years Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Technician ‘C’: SSLC + ITI + One Year Apprenticeship OR SSLC + 3 Years National Apprenticeship Certificate Course.
- Junior Assistant: B.Com/BBM (Three years course) from a recognized Institution/University.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for candidates is 28 years as of 01.06.2024. Age relaxation is provided as per government guidelines: 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PwBD candidates.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their eligibility and must appear for a written test. The written test consists of two parts:
- Part I (General Awareness): 50 marks covering logical reasoning, analytical ability, comprehension, basic numeracy, data interpretation, and general knowledge.
- Part II (Technical/Trade Aptitude): 100 marks with specific questions related to the respective discipline.
In both parts, the minimum qualifying marks are 35% for General/OBC/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD.
