NEET PG Merit List 2024

The NEET PG 2024 merit list includes several key details for each candidate, such as their roll number, application ID (APP ID), score out of 800, All India Rank (AIR), and category rank. For those competing under reserved categories, the list also provides specific category ranks, which are critical during the counseling process. Additionally, a separate 50% All India Quota (AIQ) merit list is prepared for candidates eligible for the 50% AIQ seats in various medical institutions across the country. This list is used in the centralized counseling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

In situations where two or more candidates achieve the same score, a tie-breaking rule is applied to determine their rank. This process first considers the number of correct responses, with the candidate having more correct answers ranked higher. If the tie persists, the candidate with fewer incorrect answers (and hence less negative marking) is given a higher rank. If the tie remains unresolved, the older candidate is given preference in the ranking.
